Action Required: Transition Your Recurring Gift
Thank you for your faithfulness in giving! Because you currently have a recurring gift set up, we want to make sure your generosity continues without interruption as we transition to Planning Center Giving on July 1st.
This page walks you through two simple steps — and the most important thing to know upfront is this:
Set up your new recurring gift in Planning Center Giving first before cancelling your existing gift in Overflow. This ensures there is no gap in your giving.
Step 1 — Set up your recurring gift in Planning Center Giving
- Log in: Open the Church Center app or visit our giving page below.
- Navigate: Select the Give option.
- Set the amount & fund: Enter your donation amount and select the fund from the dropdown menu.
- Choose frequency: Under the Frequency section, select how often your gift should recur (e.g., Weekly, Monthly, 1st & 15th).
- Select schedule: Tap the edit icon to choose the date you’d like the gift to begin processing.
- Payment & submission: Choose a saved payment method or add a new one, decide whether to cover processing fees, then tap Give to finalize.
Step 2 — Cancel your recurring gift in Overflow
- Log in: Visit your Overflow Donor Profile.
- Navigate: Go to the Recurring Gifts tab in the menu bar.
- Locate your gift: Find the specific recurring gift you want to end.
- Open options: Scroll to the far right of the gift listing and click the ellipsis (…).
- Cancel: Select Cancel. If it doesn’t appear immediately, scroll down in the dropdown and look under “Edit.”
- (Optional) Select a reason for cancelling in the pop-up window, then click Save. Your Donor Profile will update instantly and the gift will move to the “Cancelled Gifts” tab.
That’s it! Once both steps are complete, your recurring gift will continue seamlessly through Planning Center Giving starting July 1st.
